I N S C T S x the World Press Photo
Again this year, I had the honour of being recommended to participate in World Press Photo with my project 𝗜 𝗡 𝗦 𝗖 𝗧 𝗦.

Most of the images I submitted come from my 2025 trips to China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. In Vietnam, I had the chance to document Entobel’s facility in Dat Do, Asia’s largest black soldier fly producer. Around 250 people work there, processing 350–450 tons of locally sourced organic waste every day. Thanks again to Entobel — and to Jeroen De Wachter in particular — I also visited a Nutreco/Skretting feed facility including insect meal in their animal feed, as well as a sustainable shrimp farm which integrates insect meal as a part of their mission to produce antibiotics-free and higher-value shrimp.

A perfect combination to foster a culture of continuous development in this growing field and to enhance knowledge sharing experience in a stimulating scientific environment.
